TO-DO: Spot the various legal issues, analyze the issues, and draw relevant conclusions and recommendations to the issues.

There is no minimum set length for the report, a cursory report that merely seeks to identify topics without proper analysis and/or conclusion will not likely not earn a passing grade.

An example is shown below on how it should be done.

Issue #1Mental State of Frank Analysis People suffering from mental impairment can lack the capacity to contract. The law presumes that such persons lack the capacity to bargain effectively with those who do not have such an impairment. The test usually applied in contact law is whether a party, at the time they agreed to a contract, had sufficient mental capacity to understand the nature and effect of the contract. If a court finds that after the fact a person lacked mental capacity at the time the contract was formed, the contract is voidable at the election of that person. Conclusion Do not enter into contracts with individuals who lack full mental capacity.

Frank is a 22-year-old good-looking guy from Palmcaster who likes to live life "on the edge." The courts have never declared him insane, but everybody knows he is totally wacko. One day, Frank wandered up to the land of Carla Cougar, an owner of a facility that rescues cougars. Transfixed by the beautiful big cats, Frank wandered onto Carla's property. Carla heard sounds of somebody on her property and yelled "Get off my land." However, once Carla saw Frank she instantly wilted with glee. Carla made the following proposition to the much younger Frank: "If you clean the three cougar living quarters, I promise to pay you $100,000." Without saying a word, Frank instantly picked up a shovel and started cleaning the first of the three stalls. After 2 hours, Frank was one shovel scoop away from cleaning the last stall when Carla hissed out "I revokkkkkesss." Frank, infuriated that Carla would try to cancel the agreement at the last moment, walked up to Carla from behind, and whacked her over the head with the shovel. Carla, who never saw it coming, fell to the ground and remained motionless. Frank clawed his way off Carla's property. Frank knew he needed to disguise himself to allude the authorities. He called his buddy, Bobby Bromance for some assistance. Frank said to Bobby, "I know you are not my employee, but I need you to drive down to Beverly Hills and purchase a Justin Bibber disguise for me for $100." Bobby drove down to Beverly Hills as he was told but instead bought a Van Duesel disguise. Bobby returned and showed the Van Duesel disguise to Frank. Frank was pissed at first, but after a moment of reflection stated, "this is a perfect disguise." Bobby and Frank parted ways. Frank realized that he hated the last Van Duesel movie and discarded the disguise. He walked to the local Pharmacy skateboard shop to purchase some accessories to camouflage his look. A sign at the store said that Pharmacy was not responsible for any damages to property of its inhabitants. Frank put down his Cricket phone on a bench to try a hot-pink headband. While putting it on his noggin, an employee who was pissed about having his hours cut, angrily swotted the phone and it shattered on the ground. The employee pointed up to the sign and uttered "That sucks, bro..." Pissed off, Frank stormed out of Pharmacy. Frank needed a car to high tail it out of Palmcaster. He walked over to the house of his rich friend, Monte Moneybags, and make the following proclamation: "If you pay me $30,000 now, you will be entitled to the $100,000 I am owed from Crazy Carla." Monte thinks this is a swell idea and agrees to it and immediately gives Frank the $30,000. Flush with cash, Frank saw a billboard for Zamacho Auto saying that he had numerous new Tesla's to sell for $35,000. Frank skipped over to Zamacho Auto and ran into Russ Zamacho. Frank stated to Russ, "If you promise to sell me a Tesla for $30,000, I will buy it." Russ replied, "I will only sell it for $35,000." Frank pulled out a shank and Russ said, "just take the car." Frank drove off in the Tesla. Frank wanted to grab his girlfriend, Lorna Looney, so they could get out of Palmcaster and start a new life. He drove to her house and picked her up. Lorna, who was recently adjudicated insane by the courts, hopped into Frank's car and drove off. Lorna, excited with the new car, started playing with the gadgets in the car. She eventually grabbed the steering wheel with such force that the car veered off the road and into a ditch. Lorna was able to get out of the car and climb out of the ditch. However, Frank was woozy from the accident and was having difficulty climbing out of the ditch. Lorna, who realized she was late for her yoga class, downward dogged back into Palmcaster. Randy Runner happened to be in the area when the accident occurred. However, he was on pace for a personal speed record and decided to sprint by the accident. Discombobulated, Frank fell back down the ditch, breaking his pinky finger in the process. Page 1 of 2 First responders arrived and an ambulance drove Frank to our Lady of the Perpetually Sick hospital. At the hospital, Dr. Precision was prepping for the surgery on Frank's finger when he got the call from Hollywood to be a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance. Dr. Precision immediately called Trembling Terry, his buddy from medical school, to perform the surgery. Terry flunked out of medical school due to his persistent shakes. Unfortunately, the shakes got the best of him, and he botched the surgery so badly that Frank's pinky finger developed gangrene. Due to the infection, another doctor was called in and the decision was made to amputate his pinky finger. When Frank woke up, Trembling Terry sarcastically sniped "Don't worry Frank, you still have nine fingers." Frank darted out of the hospital and headed over to a Toyota dealership to purchase a Prius for $30,000 via only a handshake. After the purchase, he immediately had buyer's remorse and wanted to sell the vehicle. He drove the Prius to the mall. At the mall, Minor Mitch came up to him and stated his passion for the Prius. At that point, Frank uttered to Mitch, "if you promise to pay me $32,000, I will sell you my Prius." An ecstatic Mitch replied by saying "I accccceppppts," making it rain by throwing up 32$1,000 dollar bills and proceeds to grab the keys and drive off in the Prius. Mitch doesn't make it far as he goes "pole driving" by driving the Prius into a parking lot pole. Frustrated as all get out, Frank walks over to his church where he encounters Pastor Patty, his lifelong spiritual advisor. Patty, seeing that Frank was downdraught, stated the following: "I know you are sad and have done some bad things, but if you give the church $50,000, I can ensure that you won't get arrested and will get a 'golden ticket' to heaven." Frank, hearing the good news, states to Patty that "the check is in the mail." Frank proceeds to walk home. Upon entering the house, he reviews the following items: 1. Letter from Carla Cougar, stating that $100,000 is "too much money" for cleaning the Cheetah stalls. 2. Letter from Brody Bromance, asking for the $100 for the disguise. 3. Letter from Monte Moneybags, demanding the $100,000. 4. Letter from Russ Zamacho, asking for the return of the Tesla. 5. Bill from the Hospital for $700,000 for "medical services." 6. Letter from Minor Mitch demanding $32,000. 7. Letter from Pastor Patty, asking for the $50,000.
