Tomahawk Metals is a contract manufacturer producing metal stampings and related fabrications/assemblies primarily from sheet and bar metal stock . One of their most popular products is a metal table and chair set similar to that shown in Figure 1. Currently, about 20% of the company's business is in the table/chair business. Tomahawk Metals also produces a variety of other metal fabrications based on customer specifications and engineering drawings (part prints). This wide variety of parts comprises the other 80% of the business. Generally, these are small parts which are transported in bulk via totes and/or 4 ft x 4 ft pallets. Sales have been increasing by about 8% per year across all products, and this growth is expected to continue into the future.
