Toms is an organization that has a strong purpose-driven mission. Toms is a shoe company that with the slogan Wear Toms Wear Good. Their purpose driven mission is "We're in business to improve lives" (TOMS, 2021). Toms opened in 2006 at that time the owner pioneered the giving model group, giving away one pair of shoes for every pair of shoes sold. This helped community development programs through partnership. This continued until 2021, when they switched their model to 1/3 of their profits for grassroots good. "At TOMS, we are proud to wear our impact on our feet. Wear TOMS. WEAR GOOD" (TOMS, 2021). TOMS also provides resources and tips to help invest in your mental health.

I think their strategy is to help as many people as possible, making positive changes in all areas of purpose, planet and people. Showing that they are willing to give back with every purchase made shows they are purpose driven and a worthy choice to spend your money on. This will keep them competitive and ensure they are seen as a positive organization. They are also very transparent with all of their information. Showing the world they are continuing to do good and they feel they are just getting started.
