Introduction:

The main objective of this report is to explain purchasing and procurement in the

supply chain of an organization. Over the past decade, there has been integration

and collaboration of purchasing activities in supply chains among business

professionals. Supply chain management has gained massive interest in the study of

purchasing and logistics. Collaboration in purchasing and supplier management has

caused supply chain management to lower total cost and enhance services towards

the supply chains end clients simultaneously. When businesses collaborate, great

results realized. As a result, we want to analyze to get a greater understanding of

the purchasing and procurement roles within an organization.

Research a business or organization to understand its supply chain management

activities and write a report focused on the following areas related to purchasing

and procurement within this organization.

topic above after researching a company. The company can be local, national, or

international (e.g. Walmart, or Tata) This report is to be written in APA Format,

Font with page header at the top of every page with flush right page number. Please
