TOPIC HIRE PURCHASE

1. On 1st January 2019, Fikri bought a car from Kereta Motor Sdn. Bhd. which was financed by the AA Bank Berhad on monthly instalment basis. He had been paying every month without failed. However, due to financial problem, he defaulted in making the monthly payment starting from May 2020 until July 2020. Accordingly, the car was repossessed by AA Bank Berhad.

Explain the procedure for repossession and Fikri's rights as the hirer after the repossession with reference to Hire Purchase Act 1967.
