Overview: For your report you are to research and explain your topic and how it relates to challenges that leaders face in the workplace. You will then make solution for dealing with your issue by creating organizational processes and procedures based on leadership concepts you have learned in the course. Your procedures need to include an implementation plan and an effective way to measure success. Follow the detailed instructions for each section below to ensure you receive full marks.

Report Requirements:

  1. Introduction: In this section you need to provide a detailed explanation of your topic. Be sure to define your contemporary issue and include the necessary external sources to support your work. Explain why this is an issue for different levels of leaders within an organization using clear connections to leadership concepts you have learned in the course (cited & referenced).
  2. Leadership Analysis: Clearly connect the appropriate leadership style necessary to manage your contemporary issue. Be sure to explain your choices and support your opinions with clear connections to course material (cited & referenced). Clearly indicate which leadership attributes are key in your decision and how they relate to your chosen style.

Establish why you believe your chosen style or attributes are better by comparing to at least two other leadership styles described in the course. Your comparison should specifically include an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of each style supported with course material (cited & referenced).

Marks will be given based on your team clearly connecting your choice and choosing the most appropriate leadership style

  1. Proposed Solution: Using the strengths of your chosen leadership style, outline a plan for creating a process for your organization to overcome your contemporary issue. Your plan should include a clear connection to your organization's culture and clearly explain why you believe it will solve the issue.
