Is the role of the man in society dead? For this week's journal, we are examining the role that is played by DEFINITION, and the role it plays in our existence. During your read of Chapter 2, you have read about the Case Study of Pornography and the three ways that people tried to define it, content, intent, and effect. Today we are going to look at Toxic Masculinity, we will determine whether it can also be grouped using any categories. Can the same three categories from Pornography work here? Why or Why not? Explain.

What are the issues with toxic masculinity? What are the roots of it? Explain. Is all masculinity, toxic masculinity? Why is it important to have a definition of what toxic masculinity is? What are the dangers of not having such a defini9ition? Think about the role of men in 10 - 15 years and relate it to masculinity and toxic masculinity - Where do you think we will be as a society and why?
