This will be achieved through your advertising campaign presentation. This assignment is worth points. 1. Please choose a non-for-profit business that you are interested in in your area. I would prefer you chose a business that you like and go and talk to the owner. See if he/she would be interested in your creating a social media advertising campaign for the business. You will create the ads appropriate for the medium they like to advertise in to better reach their customers. You can use a family business if your family has one or your own idea for an appropriate business. 2. Create an advertising campaign for this company. Including: a. A mission statement of the company - this should be readily available from the owner. If not, create one. b. Situational analysis - their target market and current social media outreach. See Chapter 7 for demographic variables and other specific target market characteristics. c. SWOT analysis of the company and brand (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, \& Threats at least 2 of each) d. Advertising Objectives and sales and popularity (likes, shares, followers, etc.) targets to reach the target audience. e. Sample ads for at least 3 social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or other ones, for example) with a description of each target market to be reached, how the effect of the ad will be tracked, why you chose this type of ad for that specific social media, and how often it should run in a day/week/month.
