3. Transportation Problem LP Formulation

A transportation company delivers steel boxes from three plants to four different distributing centers (DC) which are located geographically around certain region. The distances (in miles) from plants to DCs are shown in the following table. If the unit cost of transportation is $0.10/box/mile, compute the unit transportation costs (of boxes from all plants to all DCs if the loading cost from plants are $30, $45 and $55 for plants 1, 2 and 3, respectively.
