Travel demand forecasting of "Pawni" The community of "Pawni" (a fictious urban region) is concerned about a growing population, increasing demands for more efficient transport services and the desire to increase their regions economic productivity in the competitive Australian environment. The region is currently home to 80,000 residents and supports employment for the local community and surrounding regions of Eagleville and Wimaspoke (South of Pawni). The mayor of Pawni has asked the transport consultancy firm where you are working at to provide forecasts of the travel demand across the community. Figure 1 presents the study area of Pawni highlighting key transport infrastructure. The primary highway connecting the region to surrounding regions is Leslie Highway while the other labelled roads serve as important corridors within the region. Pawni and the surrounds are also serviced by a metro train public transport service. The four stations within the study area are indicated in red within Figure 1
