Triad Regional Medical Center will implement programs to reduce repatriation problems of returning expatriates and their families to the organization: connect returning expatriates with mentors who have gone through the repatriation process themselves. These mentors can provide valuable guidance and support during the transition period. "The goal of mentoring is to help acclimate protgs into a new organization and provide guidance and opportunities for career development through functions such as sponsorship, role modeling, counseling, and friendship." (Claire and Reising, 2023). "Expatriation has been widely demonstrated to be stressful, and at least half of the 40 most stressful life events can be directly or indirectly related to relocation of families." (Gudmundsdottir, et al, 2023)
