Try setting my$\_$df to some subset of the rows in wdi $($use one of the $.$loc variations above$).$

Then see what happens when you do wdi $/$ my$\_$df or my$\_$df $**$ wdi.

Try changing the subset of rows in my$\_$df and repeat until you understand what is happening.
