trying to establish a positive environment is a good process. Sometimes they may seem positive and open to a consultant however, this could change depending on how involved the management team is. Its important to have support form everyone that is involved whether they agree or not. If a decision is made by the company for the consultant to do certain things, some may not agree however its important to get support from everyone to make the project successful.
