[5 marks] (iii) Find the value of a such that u, v, w are linearly dependent. [15 marks] (iv) Using the result in (iii) choose a value of a such that u, v, w are linearly independent and obtain a basis for the three-dimensional space R$ using Gaussian Elimination Method.
