Tutorial 3. Amber and Johnny, who are married, have been having increasing turmoil in their relationship since they have been cooped up together almost 24/7 while working from home due to the pandemic. In fact, Amber has gotten physical with Johnny on a number of occasions. One night, when he accidentally poured her a glass of red wine instead of white wine, she shouted at him and gave him a black eye. Yet, Johnny loves Amber and, each time, she apologies and promises not to hurt him again. On the first night that the COVID restrictions were lifted, Amber and Johnny were excited to have a proper night out for the first time in two years. Just as they were about to leave, Amber asked Johnny to fetch her black coat for her. However, Johnny mistakenly picked up her navy coat. When he came back and handed the wrong coat to Amber, she lost it. Amber, who was pouring herself a glass of wine at the time, screamed hysterically at Johnny, calling him stupid and useless , and smashed the wine bottle over his head. When Johnny slumped to the floor, Amber kicked him several times in the head with her steel-toe-cap boots on. She stopped when she realised that Johnny was unconscious. She called the ambulance, and Johnny was in a coma for two weeks. He has regained consciousness, but is permanently blind in one eye and has very bad facial scarring from being hit repeatedly with the broken wine bottle. Amber has been arrested and the DPP is preparing a file. Referring to the appropriate legislation and case law, advise the DPP on what changes, if any, should be brought against Amber
