Two culinary students are contemplating opening a new restaurant. They have identified a not currently offered in their area and are a strategy to open this restaurant. They have identified a space for lease that would suit their needs. The space is a former restaurant that has seven tables each of which can seat four. Tables can be moved together for a larger party. They are planning to operate Tuesday through Saturday evenings, 50 weeks per year. Then have developed the following estimates: 1. Compute the annual breakeven number of meals and sales revenue for the restaurant. 2 Compute the number of meals and the amount of sales revenue needed to earn operating income of $75, 600 for the year. 3. How many meals must they serve each night to earn their target profit of $75, 600 4. What factors should they consider before they make their decision as to whether open or not? Write a business report that includes the information you determined above and offers a recommendation to the aspiring culinary students about whether they should proceed with their restaurant. The report, including calculations is not to exceed two pages. An appendix may be attached to the report
