Two days before the event Hill Town Hotel fails a building inspection and is closed down. Maya has to find another venue. Prior to signing the contract the hotel manager assured Maya that the hotel is properly certified. Maya decides to rent out Hi Yacht hotel although she knows that that venue is twice the cost to rent. Hill Town offered its subsidiary company Flat Town hotel at a reduced cost. The afternoon of the dinner party, WC's building is destroyed by an accidental fire. When WC informs Maya of this, Maya says they ought to be fully aware of the consequences. Maya engages the services of Eastern Caterers, however they charge $250.00 per plate. However she knows that Southern Caterers would have charged $150.00 per plate but they are unavailable at short notice. The food from Eastern Caterers is sub par and several guests fall ill and have to be hospitalized. Maya is forced to reimburse several of the guests.
