Two delivery drivers have data about their delivery times. A delivery time of +2 minutes means the delivery arrives 2 minutes early. A delivery time of -7 minutes means the delivery arrived 7 minutes late. Delivery driver A has a mean delivery time of +5 minutes with a standard deviation of 15 minutes. Delivery driver B has a mean delivery time of -9 minutes with a standard deviation of 5 minutes.
You want to place a dinner order for delivery, to arrive at 7pm. What is the earliest it could arrive, or the latest it could arrive, if an arrival time falls within 2 standard deviations 95% of the time? Do not consider the remaining 5% of the time. Do these times belong to the same driver?
Use the answer space below and provide 3 pieces of information: 1st, earliest the delivery could arrive; 2nd, the latest the delivery could arrive; and 3rd, do these times belong to the same driver (and if so, which driver is it, A or B?)
