Two people were murdered in their village for being accused of witchcraft. The tradition in their village is that if someone dies under suspicious circumstances the relatives to the deceased will order the coffin through some rituals to direct them to the killer. In this case the coffin of the deceased by the name of Muntumuntu drove the pall bearers to a couple's house, Mr. and Mrs Mutiti. There was a large crowd from around the village which followed the pall bearers and the coffin to the Mutitis' house were the couple was stoned and beaten with all sorts of objects. They were later set on fire and died. When the police arrived, the witnesses who were on the scene and who also happened to be relatives to the Mutitis identified only two people that being David and Dereck. The two are arrested for murder.
