Both lines are 10m long. 1) Draw pictorial representations of the problem form two different viewpoints. One of them should be looking at the power lines "end on" with current flowing toward and away from you. 2) Find the strength of the magnetic field generated by the 7.0A line 1.8m away from it (where the 12.0A line is located.). 3) Use the Lorentz force equation to find the strength of the force acting on the 12.0A line. 4) Use the Right Hand Rule for cross products to determine the direction of the force acting on the 12.0A line. Include either a 3D sketch of relative vector directions, with labels - or a thorough description in words, of the direction of each vector in the cross product, and the resulting force. 5) What is the strength and direction of the force that the 12.0A line exerts on the 7.0A one? How did you determine this? (there is more than one possible way, you only need to describe one.)
