Two students work together on a presentation, which they give to me over Zoom. Unfortunately, during the presentation my internet fails. Rather than make the students redo the presentation, I offer them the following scheme: Each of you (independently! no discussion) submits to me the score you think the presentation should receive. Do it by submitting either a 90 or a 100 - imagine these are the only two grades I give on presentations. Here's what I will do: I will assign both of you the lower of the two scores. But then I will give a little bonus to the person who submitted that (lower) number: 3 points of extra credit! If both of you write the same number, that is what I will assign (with no bonus). What is/are the ESS of this game? Show all and explain why they are evolutionarily stable.
