Two weeks ago, Peter purchased a UNIGO electric mower from Parts R US, a garden and mechanical
tool shop. The UNIGO mower brand is an inhouse brand manufactured and promoted as being made
to high standards with the ability to mow for 2 hours continuously. When Peter arrived home with
the mower, he was surprised that the mower had no brand markings but possessed a similar colour
scheme to the UNIGO mowers he had seen in store. When Peter used the mower, the battery lasted
only 30 minutes and then suddenly lost power. When he tried again after charging, the same
happened. Peter then took the mower back to the store and was told that the mower was different
to that purchased and that this mower has a mowing time of around 30 minutes. At that time, they
advised Peter that he would have no right or refund or exchange as the mower was now used.
