UBI has been around for a while but it's gotten some new attention. Particularly, futurists are concerned with what happens to us when robots take over and humans have nothing but leisure time. How do we allocate money? This may sound like Star Trek but it's sucking up some major bandwidth. It is highly political and it won't be a reality until we get close to utopia, however, it is incredibly idyllic despite the debate.
