Underperforming in the USA

Audi's largest single market is China, where it achieves more than 30 per cent of its sales and where it is the leader ahead of BMW and Mercedes. From the perspective of the current production strategy it is notable that the USA only makes up 10% of Audi's sales. In this market, Audi is much less successful than its main rivals BMW and Mercedes.
