Understanding the challenges of past attempts to enact national health care can be useful learnings to help allow for future efforts in this area to address gaps encountered with prior efforts. Modeling can often help to mitigate some of these challenges, and can be a useful method to help allow for effective predictions to be in place to help close the gap between plans and actual implementation of those plans
