Unfortunately, an organization is behind schedule and has called on you to assist in the evaluation of performance exercise given you knowledge in accounting. Your task is to provide a financial statement analysis report for the assigned company and period. To complete your assignment, procure the financial statements of your assigned company (Sam Woode Ghana) for the relevant years(2013-2015). Although the evaluation focuses on ratio analysis, your evaluation can include vertical, horizontal, and trend analysis to help you in your discussion. Requirement You are required to do the following:

(a) Setup a Microsoft Excel workbook for the tasks with designated sheet for each of the following: statement of comprehensive income, statement of financial position, horizontal analyses, vertical analyses, ratio analyses, and charts you may consider inserting in your report for illustration.

(b) Enter the financial statement figures and other relevant data in the designated sheets in the workbook. Format the cells appropriately to give the sheets a great visual outlook.

(c) Perform horizontal analysis to indicate the annual changes in the values on the statement of comprehensive income and the statement of financial position over the years you have been assigned to work on. Format the cells appropriately to give the sheet a great visual outlook.

(d) Perform vertical analysis to indicate the significance of the values on the statement of comprehensive income and the statement of financial position over the years you have been assigned to work on. Format the cells appropriately to give the sheet a great visual outlook.

(e) Compute profitability ratios, liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, efficiency ratios, and market value (or investment) ratios for the years you have been assigned to work on. Format the cells appropriately to give the sheet a great visual outlook.

(f) Prepare charts to illustrate trends in selected ratios over the years (at least five of them). Format the cells appropriately to give the sheet a great visual outlook (g) Write up a report on the financial statement analysis you have done (see the note below for guidance on the contents and the structure of the report).
