Final Assessment Guideline Part 1 Students are expected to choose their choice of company/companies in the same industry and do a detailed Ratio Analysis (the ratios are mentioned in the lecture notes and book). They can either choose one company and choose any two years, like 2018 and 2019 or 5 years apart and do ratio analysis on those years and report a trend. Example, company A on year 2014 and 2019. They can also choose two competing companies in the same industry/business and run ratio analysis on the same year. For example, Company A and B in 2019. The ratios can be found calculated from the annual report of the companies, so they are expected to search for them on the company website. Ideally companies that are publicly traded will have annual reports updated on their websites. Final Assessment Guideline Part 2 Part 2 of the report will consist of options and methods followed for Long Term Financing and Short Term Financing. Students are expected to go through the same annual reports on which they are doing the Ratio Analysis and list out the financing options opted by the companies in each year and by how much amounts. From that they can also derive the conclusion ( along with the results from ratio analysis) on the companies' decisions regarding the financing decisions being effective or not. This report will basically reflect the capabilities of the students to do a compare and contrast of the financial health of the companies and how well they explain those.
