Union Representation continues to decline in the U.S due to the economical challenges faced at our time. When researching into this subject it states that many unions cannot afford to pay new union memmbers a higher wage then thier current payrates making recrruitment more difficult. When it comes to overall economical value many unions can't compete with fedral unions making the establishment of unions consistently difficult. Speaking from experience as well the union dues are not as cheap as they use to be when i was part of a steel workers union and many of my old coworkers working there have left due to the intolarable fees they demand as of late
