Investigate the firm's financial condition in 2023(by comparing it with 2022) in terms of its Liquidity, Solvency, Turnover, Profitability, and Market Values by analyzing the calculated ratios. How has the firm's performance changed over time? Based on your analysis, comment on the prospects of the firm from an investor's viewpoint.
Instructions:
Consistent with the university's academic integrity policy, your submission must be your original work.
Show all your work/calculations in an Excel file (Question 1). The required financial statements (Income Statement and Balance Sheet) must be presented in Excel; calculate all the ratios from those data using Excel formulas. Using Excel formulas is mandatory for this project. The Excel calculations carry 10 points.
Use a Word/pdf file for the analysis part (Question 2). The Project Report must be at least 2 full pages. The Project Report carries 5 points.
For both calculation and analysis, use the content of Chapter 3: Working with Financial Statements.
Use reliable web sources for financial statements, such as Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, Edgar, etc.
The grade for the project depends on the quality of work in terms of accuracy, analysis, completeness, organization, writing, and relevance.
