And HHIncomeMid - "Numerical version of HHIncome derived from the middle income in each category."

A. Which variable do you think should be the explanatory variable, which should be the response? Think about which of these might explain the other?

B. Take a sample of 50 adults and select() AlcoholYear, HHIncomeMid. Plot AlcoholYear vs HHIncomeMid. Describe the plot and state whether or not you think a relationship exists.

C. What is your estimate of the correlation between Alcohol consumption and Household income?

D. Construct and interpret a 95% confidence interval for the true correlation. Do you think a hypothesis test examining: H0 : = 0HA : 6= 0 would reject the null at the level of 5%?
