1. What problem has the researcher identified?

2. What was something interesting you learned from the literature review?

3. What is the research question? If more than one, just pick one.

4. What are the independent and dependent variable(s)?

5. What is the hypothesis and the null hypothesis? If more than one, just pick one. Sometimes a hypothesis won't be written out. So, if there isn't one there, just write one!

6. Is the hypothesis 1-tailed or 2-tailed?
