Use the GSS2016.SAV file and SPSS to produce a CROSSTAB for the variables PREMARSX and SEXEDUC. Before conducting the analyses, reverse code PREMARSX into R_PREMARSX so that 1 = Never Wrong; 2 = Sometimes Wrong; 3 = Almost Always Wrong; and 4 = Always Wrong. Then, dummy code SEXEDUC into D_SEXEDUC so that 1 = Oppose and 0 = Favor. Then, examine the relationship between these variables by testing both statistical significance and strength of association. Use chi-square for significance and choose the appropriate measures for strength of association (Phi, Cramer's V, Lambda, or Gamma). (Hint: Even though SEXEDUC is only two categories, it has ordinal properties here). Set alpha to .05.
