Using burglary tools, Bruno DePrisco broke into several homes in the Atlanta suburbs, stealing electronics, jewelry, and art works. Bruno and his friend, Salvatore Rizzo, were having some beers at Bruno's apartment when Bruno complained that he had to find a place to store his tools because his landlord was tearing down the garden shed where he usually stashed the tools. After Rizzo offered to keep the tools in his garage, Bruno put the tools in the trunk of Rizzo's car. During the visit, Bruno had Rizzo answer the telephone and tell the police that Bruno no longer lived at that address and that Rizzo had no knowledge as to where Bruno had moved. Is Rizzo criminally liable for helping Bruno avoid arrest by the authorities?
