Using Connect Component Workbench to create the Ladder Logic
3. Within a factory environment, there are 3 alarm (or danger present) outputs that are triggered by a combination of 3 manually operated pushbuttons (PB1, PB2, PB3).
An operator in the control room of the factory will press down on a combination of these pushbuttons to initiate the correct alarm and the alarm will stop once the pushbutton(s) are released.
Here are the possible alarms and combinations of pushbuttons that can activate them:
a. PB1 and PB2 will initiate a Red Light/Lamp output to be activated
b. PB2 and PB3 or PB1 and PB3 will initiate a Local Alarm in the lobby
c. PB1, PB2 and PB3 will initiate a Fire Alarm
Please write a PLC program with ladder logic to accomplish the above circuit
- Building on the above example, lets make some changes:
- All of the outputs are now latching outputs and the alarms will continue to stay on once initiated
- Pressing another pushbutton, PB4, can unlatch all 3 of the alarms
Please write a PLC program with ladder logic to accomplish the above circuit
