Using data networks to carry voice traffic is not new, but the proliferation of high-speed and broadband networks for consumers has brought introduced new ways for end users to make phone calls over their Internet connection. Research a company/application/hardware device that allows users to send or receive phones calls through their ISP. Then do the following:

• Provide a summary (and URL) for this company
• Discuss your experiences using their software/hardware
• If you haven't used the Internet to make phone calls, what would be the incentive for you to try it?
• How do you think this is or will affect traditional phone companies like Verizon, Qwest, etc.?
• Comment on at least two other posts during the week
