Using Linux (bash):
Write a script called apple.bash that takes one command line argument, the three letter abbreviation for the month and extracts the closing Apple stock price (the first number after the abbreviation aapl for that date) for all dates (in both years). Hint: Use a grep command to extract the Apple stock line from every file whose name matches a wildcard pattern that includes the month passed into the script. Then pipe the output of grep through two colrm commands to remove all of the characters before and after the first price. Note that the stock files are in the subdirectory stock_data of your ~/homeworks/homework2 directory.
