Using Prosci's change management research data, expand on my answer to the question below in less than 200 words Question: Can you think of projects where the use of, or non-use of change management best practices could have benefited or project success? How so? Reflecting on the best and worst practices we explored in the lessons, describe some situations in which change management could have been handled better. Answer: Yes, we could have used change management best practices from Prosci's research to help with the release of an internal admin software we created at my company. Effective Communication was lacking in a project my company released wherein we did not communicate to the customer service team properly during the development phase the changes we were going to make to our internal admin software, and because of this they were resistant to the change. If we had effectively communuated with them the changes we planned to make before we made them, they would have been less resistant. In addition, having a Structured Change Management Approach would of been helpful in this regard as well because we would have clearly understood at the start of the project that the customer service team needed proper training and to clearly understand the purpose of the change, and again this would of resulted in less resistance to the change
