Using Software R:

Use the dataset "NSHAP_core_704" which includes 25 variables from 3,196 respondents of the public release file of Wave 2 of the US National Social Life, Health, and Aging Project (NSHAP): 2010-2011.Retain the same derived binary variables that you constructed for the previous assignment.

In the previous assignment, you estimated the effects of binary race and education (HS) on self-rated physical health (SRPH). Now consider the binary education effect standardized for the binary race variable.

a)First calculate and report the 2 race-standardized risks:

Risk of SRPH = 1 if Education HS

Risk of SRPH = 1 if Education > HS)

using the standardization formula and choosing the total study population as the target for standardization (i.e. the distribution of race in the whole sample).

Then take the difference between these two standardized risks as an estimate of the standardized risk difference.
