Using theDiscussion: Questioning Techniques Chart located within the Learn section of this module, create at least 6 questions from the assigned readings for this module. Note: You must ask questions from each reading or presentation. You may not ask all 6 questions from one reading source. Maximize your questioning techniques by employing all 5 levels of questioning located within the Questioning Techniques Chart. The purpose of this discussion is to help you choose what was important in each assigned reading and presentation so that you can spur your classmates onto higher learning through their replies. Make sure you have a heading for each set of questions (i.e., Title of Reading, Chapter # Question, Presentation Title, etc...) so that your classmates can find answers to your questions. Please review the provided example.
Example of an excellent Initial Post -
1. The Strong Leader's Hand- Chapter 1: Vision- The Hand at Work In order to achieve and accomplish something we must have a vision that we can set SMART goals for. Most people naturally resist change. It is not easy to win the hearts of people to a vision. People oppose change for many reasons. Why is it easier for us to stay in comfortable places than uncomfortable places if it means NOT accomplishing our vision?
2. The Weak Leader's Fist- Chapter 1: Contrator- The Fist Leadership who misuse and abuse their role are leaders who are full of fear and want power and control. As York stated: "Insecure leaders operate from fear that something or someone will go wrong." In my adult life I have worked with good leaders and bad leaders who have abused their roles as leaders. The good leaders had better success and a stronger foundation than those leaders who took advantage of their roles. Whether you're a good or bad leader, what type of work environment would it create for all your employees you oversee or work for you?
3. John 13- Jesus Washes His Disciples' Feet In this parable many teachings were being taught. One of importance is that we must not pride ourselves of where we are in and to always treat those like how you want to be treated. I think of it when it comes to where ever you are in life and how good you made it remember where you started from. Don't judge others and think less of them because you are in a better place however, help them and guide them. When you are in the service of others you are in the service of God. What does it mean to you to be in the service of God?
4. John 13- Jesus Predicts His Betrayal This passage shows you that it really be the people closes to you that betrays you. Your worse pains come usually from those you love and not your enemies. Why was it important for the disciples to know one of them is/will betray Jesus?
5. Course Introduction As I watch this introduction I couldn't stop and think about the concept of having a garden. When having a garden, you must water it, check the soil, fertilize it and also pull the weeds. You can't just plant it and water it and expect that it will just grow and produce the fruit or vegetables that you want. You must take care of the small stuff. The small stuff is as important for the bigger picture or ending result as it is for the big stuff. When did doing something small reflected or affected a big part in your life?
6. Servant Leadership People will respect you as a servant leadership. Servant leadership is treating others like how you would like to be treated. Ernie speaks on how it becomes a trust factor. Can servant leadership be built into someone at a later age if earlier teachings didn't teach that? Or is it true as Mr. Ernie stated you either got to be born with it and raised that way or you don't?
