A Supermarket owner would like to invest his money in e-commerce shopping cart. The owner would like to improve their system. The system should provide better services to their customer. The owner is not familiar with recent technology and tools, so they would like to hire you to develop such system to them. The customer in current regular shopping experience when he visits the actual location of the supermarket and get all the items which he would like to buy, when the customer checked out, the sales man will prepare invoice for the customer and make sure they would pay either by cash, credit card or membership card (they can fill the card by pay any amount they like or when they got 1000 point will get 20BD amount in the card). The Customer will have machines to check prices of items using barcode, or either compares prices between brands on the store. The owner would like to invest his money in online shopping cart, where customers will be able to create accounts on the online system. After, they completed registration, the customer can start his shopping experience, the customer will be able to view all products from the website, search for specific product. create order list by adding items to the cart, update their order list, and checkout. When the customer selects and add item/s, the system will automatically create order list / digital basket where will list all item customer want to buy, after the customer complete his shopping he can check out. When he checked out the system will verify the ordered items availability, and verify the customer's delivery address, the system will issue invoice with the order list, the system will ask the customer to pay by credit card. To verify the customer credit standing and authorization request for the order total should be send to the credit card company. After receiving the customer credit confirmation, the customer confims the payment. The system will automatically updates product unit number whenever customer check out and remove them from the actual stock. The invoice will be viewed on the screen, and customer will have two options either print or save invoice in their system, while in regular shopping experience will have printable invoice only. The warehouse department will receive customer order list and the warehouseman will prepare the package for each order, then the warehouseman will schedule the package for delivery, the client will receive a delivery note on their email. The supermarket has signed a contract with local delivery company which has to deliver the package within 24 hours, the delivery man will pick up the package according to the schedule. The customer should sign delivery notice when receives their orders.
