3. In Part 2 of the lab, why is the ratio of the new mass to the original mass not equal to 2? Using Equations 2 and 3, determine the theoretical value of the mass on the hanger needed for the string vibrates in 4 segments. Determine the percent error of the theoretical and experimental values.
