Songkok Maju has been in business since year 1980 at Pekan Rabu building in Alor Setar Kedah. It

specialises in bespoke Songkok making and Baju Melayu. Its name has been well known not only in

Kedah but all over Malaysia since Pekan Rabu is a popular tourist destination. However, when the

government enforced the movement control order (MCO) due to COVID-19 pandemic starting from

March 18, 2020 the business has been badly impacted. The number of walk-in customers has been

decreasing but the owner still needs to pay for overhead costs including shop rental, utility etc. Now

the owner of Songkok Maju, Encik Abu is thinking of setting up a website to offer his products and
