Home and Outdoor Furniture refused to deliver the bird bath unless Victoria paid an additional $1,000. They also offered to refund Victoria her $543.33. Victoria paid the $1,000 in protest (she really wanted that bird bath!), but then sued Home and Outdoor Furniture for breach of contract.
