Why would a company consider the virtual event an effective method to reach its target audience?

As an example, the virtual event could be a career fair on ZOOM where recruiters/brands and candidates network and interview for job openings.

Or as another example, regarding a hybrid virtual event, I recently published a press release on behalf of one of our client's, Swim With Mike where we had the Swim with Mike athletes show up in-person to an event so they could actually physcially compete in a swim competition.
