Vulnerability researcher, and storyteller Berne Brown, PhD, LMSW, told Time Magazine, "I want to live in a world with braver, bolder leaders, [...]" (as cited in Luscombe, 2018). To be a brave and bolder leader, one must first know themselves and be able to take an authentic look at their own strengths and weakness. Task 1 in Managing Organizations and Leading People is asking each student to take Gallup's CliftonStrengths Assessment and discuss what they feel the assessment says about their leadership style compared to a specific leadership theory. Gallup's CliftonStrengths Assessment has identified my top five signature themes as: Communication, Adaptability, Realtor, Woo, and Includer. Understanding and embodying these strengths will help to influence my interactions with others, and by truly understanding myself I can make leadership decisions that are braver and bolder. Additionally, utilizing my strengths appropriately will allow me to maximize my potential and that of the people whom I serve as their leader
