The following information is available for November 2022: Opening work in progress (25% complete) 8 000 units Material cost: R400 000 Cost of conversion: R120 000 Put in production 15 000 units Material cost: R900 000 Cost of conversion: R3 100 000 Completed and transferred 20 000 units Closing work in progress (80% complete) 1 250 units Additional information: Normal wastage amounts to 5% of the inputs that reach the identification of wastage stage in the process. Wastage occurs when the process is 20% complete. The company uses the weighted average method of inventory valuation.
