Part - (a) Walter got severely injured and was unable to work for a month when caustic soda he was using to clean the bath exploded in his face. The instructions on the bottle stated that caustic soda should not be used with hot water but Walter did not read them. (6 marks)

Part - (b) His wife got injured when she was sitting near a heater wearing a night-dress, gifted to her by Walter, caught fire. (4 marks)
