WAMAP x Homework Help - Q&A from Onl x |- X wamap.org/assess2/?cid=27419&aid=1403860#/skip/1 t At the beginning of a year, 40 rabbits are put on an empty island. Of course they multiply quickly. But at some point, the plants that they eat on the island start being less available (since they're eating them all). Thus the rate at which the population is increasing starts decreasing. The population can be modeled by: 12800 V = 20 + 300 - 4-0.13t where t is the number of months since the rabbits were first dropped off on the island. Given this model, at what month, t, does the rate of change of population stop increasing at an increasing rate and start increasing at a decreasing rate? (Note: This means that the poulation is still increasing, but it's not increasing as fast as it used to be.) You must use calculus to answer this question. Give your answer accurate to at least 2 decimal places. months To be sure that your answer makes sense, graph it with Desmos or your graphing calcuator to see if your time works with the graph. Then, on your paper, draw this graph labeling both axes and putting a scale on both axes. And put a dot on the point of the graph that corresponds to your answer. Here's what I want your graph to look like (of course you need to put in the scale and actually draw the graph): Rabbit Population Please put a scale (#'s) on each axis. t, months LABEL YOUR AXES Did you check the graph of the function so that you know you are correct? And did you draw your graph neatly on your work with axes labeled and a scale on both axes? yes O no Type here to search O 9 3:48 PM 77OF Sunny ~ ( 4) 8/13/2021
