Wanting to check my work so far, am I heading in the right direction??

A person is swinging a bucket around their head, their arm is 3 feet long. How fast in FPS and RPM do they have to swing the bucket not to get wet?

r= 3 feet, converted this to meters, and got .914 m.

used equation v^2=rg

v=sqrt r*g

v=sqrt (.914)(9.81 m/s^2)

v= 2.99 m/s.

How do I convert this to FPS and RPM? This is where I'm getting stuck. thank you!
