Warren Buffet is recognized as one of the most respected and successful investors in the world. Despite the importance of financial planning, he often warns against trusting forecasts. In a Fortune article in 1977 he stated "Forecasts usually tell us more of the forecaster than of the future." During a stockholders meeting in 1994 he also stated Dont ask the barber whether you need a haircut. Why do you think Buffet is reluctant to trust forecasts? Would you agree with him?
